Use CedarBid inside your AI assistant
The free CedarBid connector lets Claude, ChatGPT and other AI assistants answer questions about VA heating, cooling and plumbing contracts straight from our data. There is no account, no login and no cost.

The connector uses the Model Context Protocol (MCP) over HTTPS and needs no authentication.
Add it to Claude
- In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors.
- Click Add custom connector.
- Name it CedarBid and paste the connector address above.
- Click Add. Leave the advanced settings empty; no login is needed.
Claude's plans set how many custom connectors you can add; check Claude's help center for your plan.
Add it to ChatGPT
In ChatGPT, add a custom MCP server or app with the connector address above and no authentication. The steps and which plans support them change from time to time; see ChatGPT's help pages for the current instructions.

Data
Department of Veterans Affairs contracts under NAICS 238220 with activity since October 2018, from USAspending.gov, refreshed twice a week. Data as of Oct 19, 2026. See About the data for definitions and limits. The connector does not list open solicitations; find those on SAM.gov.
Privacy
The connector receives only the question parameters your assistant sends, such as a state code or contract number. It does not receive or store your conversation, does not use cookies and does not require any personal information. Our hosting provider processes standard technical request data as described in our privacy policy.
